Asher Named Top 5 Military Friendly School
Asher College is pleased to announce it has been honored as a “Top 5” Military Friendly® School. This national award recognizes schools for their Gold Standard of Excellence in serving military personnel and their families.

Military Friendly® Schools are determined using public data sources from more than 8,000 schools, student veteran input and survey responses. Military Friendly® Schools must also meet important criteria and thresholds. Asher College greatly exceeded the benchmark criteria in every category: academic policies and compliance; admissions and orientation; culture and commitment; financial aid and assistance; graduation and career; and military student support and retention.
“Asher is committed to supporting our veterans both professionally and personally,” said John Kanter, Veteran’s Outreach Specialist at Asher College. “We work diligently not only to identify professional resources for our veterans, but also to identify the most beneficial contacts within the VA system itself, giving veterans the opportunity to speak to real people about their specific needs.”
Asher College accepts all forms of veteran education benefits. Asher also sponsors monthly veteran lunches, participates and supports community events, such as Sacramento Stand Down, and designates special study areas for Veteran’s suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Asher College is accredited and specializes in Information Technology, Health Services and Business with an emphasis in soft skills and career service assistance. Asher College has been eligible for veteran training benefits since 2002 and has campuses in Dallas, Texas, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Sacramento, California.
