Our Pharmacy Technician program delivers the skills needed to review and process prescriptions in a retail or community pharmacy environment. Students enrolled in this program will learn what it takes to work under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, as well as the top 200 drugs, elements of a prescription, knowledge of IV infusions and compounding calculations, pharmacy law and ethics, the history of pharmacy, and pharmacy practices in retail and hospital settings. This program is only available at our Sacramento campus. More
