CompTIA: Security+ Certification

The CompTIA Security+ Certification teaches students how to secure networks, computers and servers. Our program provides students with knowledge of security concepts, tools, and procedures to react to security incidents and anticipate security risks so they can take action to guard against them. Asher College is a CompTIA training and testing facility.

While there is no required prerequisite, The CompTIA Network+ certification is recommended before taking the Security+ exam. The CompTIA Security+ exam covers the important foundational principles for securing a network and managing risk. Access control, identity management and cryptography are important topics on the exam, as well as selection of appropriate mitigation and deterrent techniques to address network attacks and vulnerabilities.
